Jelly Belly

🎯 Goal

Team up with a friend to defeat the Boss before your turns run out! The fewer turns it takes, the better your final score.

🎮 Setup

• One player clicks Create Game and shares the Room Code.
• The other player clicks Join Game and enters the code.
• Both players choose a secret Attack Code — 3 numbers (1–6) that form your attack sequence.

🔄 Turn Order

• Players alternate turns. On your turn, click Roll to move your character.
• Highlighted tiles show where you can land — click one to move there.
• Landing on different tile colours triggers different effects (see the tile guide below).

🗺️ Tile Guide

Gold — Draw Perks

Draw up to 2 perks from your bag directly into your inventory. Any overflow perks return to the bottom of your bag. If your inventory is already full, nothing is drawn.

Azure — Random Event

Roll a D6 by tapping the dice (not the Roll button!). 🎲 1 = lose 1 heart · 2–3 = draw 1 perk from bag · 4–5 = choose 1 perk from 4 · 6 = gain 1 heart. Perk draws are skipped if your inventory is full.

Magenta — Lose 2 Points 🎉

Your score drops by 2 (minimum 0). Since lower score is better in Jelly Belly, landing here actually helps you!

Orange — Add to Bag

Draw 2 perks from the shared pool and pick one to shuffle into your bag. The other returns to the shared pool.

Grey — Boss Tile ⚔️

Landing here starts a boss combat! Roll your combat dice and try to match your 3-number Attack Code to deal damage. After combat, roll again to move off the tile — or choose to stay.

⚔️ Boss Combat

• Roll your combat dice and try to match your 3-number Attack Code.
• If all 3 match — direct hit! The boss takes 1 damage.
• The boss retaliates — if its roll matches your code, you lose a heart.
• Use rerolls wisely! Lock dice you want to keep before rerolling the rest.

🎒 Perks & Inventory

• Your bag holds your perk collection — perks are added to it by landing on Gold, Azure, or Orange tiles.
• Your inventory has 2 active slots. Perks drawn from tiles go directly into inventory if slots are open.
• Single-tap a perk in your inventory to read what it does. Double-tap to use it.
• If your inventory is full when you land on a perk tile, the perk stays in your bag for later.
• Perks include Shields, Extra Dice, Teleport, and many more!

❤️ Hearts & Death

• Each player starts with 3 hearts. Lose them all and you're dead.
• Dead players respawn at their starting tile — your teammate can revive you with a Lifesaver perk.
• The boss also has hearts. Deplete them all to win!

🏆 Scoring

Your score = total turns taken. Lower is better! Submit your score at the end to compete on the global leaderboard.
